An Ode to Number Five
You may not be no lucky three
Or sent from heaven like number seven
But as prime number three, important you must be
If not discrete in your expression
Thumbs and toes, to you they owe
Their wonderful symmetry
And every student is excited
On the fifth day of their week
For the Friday bell signals
The end of school routine
Mister five you are so divine
Our senses belong to you
Touch, smell, taste, hear, see
From you they accrue
A pentagram's points are five
The pentagon's sides too
You appear in witchcraft and government
What more can you wish to do?
Oh dearest five, so well you thrive
In all we know and do
So never believe, if anyone tries to decieve
And say theres a number more important than you
