Ode to Rain

Cold to the touch

You collide with my skin

While you freefall

From and endless sky.

I can see you

Yet I see through you,

For your cause is clear

But your effect is color.

With the sunlight you shine

And create massive rainbows

But somehow in masses

You amount to a single shade.

On the tip of my tongue

You land tasteless.

My taste buds expecting sweet

But your looks prove to be deceiving.

For as pretty as you are

You have two sides:

Light with love

Or heavy with harm.
