Ode To Rain

You fall with grace and purpose

creating the sweetest of sounds to the ears of all.

You crash with thunder and lightening

causing fear to rise and fall.

Dancing on the pavement,

prancing off the roof.

Pouring down to wash away the remains of the past day.

Seeping into the ground

where new plants are found.

Your gentle retreat brings a bright new heat.
