Ode to a red rose

Dear boy I love,

why didn't you ever bring one?

Out of all the times we've had

and all the fun

you never noticed how sad

i'd become

outward I pour my heart

all you replied with was a short hum

we were so happy to start

but as we both worn

we fell apart

you know, most have a thorn

but so did you

Love,

The girl you don't love anymore
