Looking at Tiffany’s, it’s all so pretty.
If the karats are gold, then it’s so done.
I could be happy if it were just mine.
The jewels in the rings gleam just like the sun.
I see dresses in windows at Nordstroms,
A pink Free People with ruffles and bow.
When I walk by, my heart beats like a drum,
But then, I see the price, my beats get slow.
Now, off to buy my matching Tory Burch.
They catch my eye and I have to caress;
Shoes so hot I could not wear them to church.
Away, to brunch, cause I’m dressed to impress
Now I have the ring, the dress, and the shoes.
Shopping has washed away all of my blues!
