Ode to Springtime Fairies

The last of the gentle breeze rushes through the strands of my hair

As it transforms into the pitter and patter of rain drops on my forehead

Causing the warm rays of sunlight to seep into my pores

While the blossoms’ fragrance intoxicates my mind;

Dragging me to the very place I was forbidden to venture

Drew drops spackle the warm green, green grass,

As the hues of the flowers collided together

Deeper I travel into the forest of unknowns

Where stories are told of fairies’ giddiness and pleasures

Time is nonexistent as I venture even deeper into a world I shouldn’t be

Whimsical music and fragrances tantalizing to the senses drags me nearer

The universe falls on top of me when vines ensnare my feet

As if tumbling to the depths of Hades

I glaze in a daze into the eyes of a godly creature;

With bright blue eyes, hair as black as the night sky,

And wings of glimmering stars

The world starts to transform

While I lose all sense of time;

My heart speeds faster than a shooting star

Each moment I look into his bright blue eyes,

I stink deeper into the very depths of his soul

Knowing an eternity I will stay

So the stories are told.
