Ode to the Sun

Shining brightly and hanging between the clouds, the sun watches me with a smile. It extends its rays. A fire lights inside of me. It gives me energy. My heart melts in its warmth. I am happy. I am alive. I feel invincible. The rays free me, allowing me to enjoy their beauty. It is sunset. The sun gives me a grand demonstration. It paints with colors of red, orange, pink, and violet. The clouds offer to participate. The sun paints them marvelous colors. It is the grand finale. The birds fly across the sky. The frogs croak. The crickets chirp. Nature applauds the beauty. Now the curtain must close. The sky turns to dark. The sun hides behind the horizon. But tomorrow it will return to smile once again.
