Ode to the Tasmania Tiger
When they
looked at you
they were confused.
Treated you
like an outcast
but they were
wrong. You
are the ancestor
of the mighty.
Your fur is
as elegant as
the night. Fur to
elegant that
no other could
compare.
Strips
on your back,
like medals
You were hunting like
it will be your last meal.
You fought for the title
predator. Like
they all
wanted, a powerful
yet graceful
being.
The sound of
your voice
made them all bow,
when you spoke.
Your stance to
lusty. With teeth sharp
as a knife
no one dares
to go
against you.
The beast
of the land,
they could not
tame you.
The chains
were so heavy
you went insane.
You were the
predator,
that scared
them all. Tasmania
Tiger, you scared
them to
your death
