It's time for school again and I'm back on campus

I'm approaching the finish line and I'm excited

What could go wrong?

I move back in and the toilet is broken

I look in my new room and it's been trashed

My excitement immediately died

I check my financial aid account

Tuition has risen and I owe too much money

Class hasn't started and I'm already losing

Applied for a few jobs; no responses

Searching for Work Study jobs; no one is hiring

I just can't win

Now I'm blue, just like my school

My hope still glimmers like silver

Guess it must be my school spirit
