The Odyssey Retold

Once there was a man

who left his home

and went on a long journey.

On his trip back

there were many troubles,

making it hard for him to get home safely.

He was tempted

by love and by pride,

and many people

thought he had died.

He was gone for so long

that his wife gave up hope.

She looked for someone new

so that she could cope.

She missed her husband,

but she thought he was dead

but when he came back,

here's what he said:

"How dare you invite

all these other guys

into our home

just cause your alone!

I thought you loved me

and that you would wait

but you deserted me

and that's all I have to say."

So he and his son

took out their guns

and shot all the men

right in their heads.

Then they cleaned up

all of the blood.

Then the man reclaimed his wife,

and moved on with his life.
