Oh Captains, My Captains


 
 
 
 

How thoughtful it was for you to raise me,

I could not be more grateful.

Everything you sacrificed to flee

To America to get the label

Of someone who wants the golden key.

And here I am in college, faithful

That I can get you the key.

I hope this is reassurance

That you two are great parents.
