Oh Dear Cat!

To my dear cat, Zyla.

You meow at my door

Disrupting my sleep

Sitting on the floor

Demanding to eat

I hear you, I do

But my bed is so warm

I’ll get you some food

Just five minutes more

Now you get angry

You go find the catnip

Now you go crazy

Can’t you be quiet

You walk between my legs

Making  me fall

Then  meow like it’s a joke

Well it’s not funny at all

You are not good at coping

With  being told no

You  might have a problem

Just letting you know

Don’t act sassy

I’m technically your mother

You do it one more time

You are going in the corner

Don't shake your tail when I’m talking to you

And you better not hiss

No matter what I do

Now you act all cute

Snuggled beside me

It's almost as if

You actually love me

Okay, okay

You can have the pillow tonight

But please don’t wake me

Until daylight!
