Oh Death, Where Is Your Sting?!
Oh, death, where is your sting? For my God has risen today!!!
Oh hell, where is your victory? For you have been defeated, for my God has my victory!!!
You thought you won the victory, but my God did not stay in the grave, for He has risen today!!
Oh, death, you have been defeated!!
Look at what God has done! For we are forever free! Christ has risen!
Oh, death, you have no hold on me! My chains are gone for I am forever free!
Look what God has done! It was finished upon that cross!
The tomb is empty; the stone has been rolled away!
Oh, death, where is your sting!? Oh hell, where is your victory!?
Let us not forget what God has done for us on the cross, and has risen from the grave, and has defeated death once and for all.
So again: To God be all praise, all dominion, all honor, all majesty forever and ever for all of eternity!
Soli Deo Gloria!!!
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 ~ "O death, where is your victory?! Oh, death, where is your victory?! The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
