OH! Grumpy Olde Bastard Oh
OH! Grumpy Olde Bastard
Oh I’m a grumpy olde bastard.
Can’t you see?
No longer in me prime,
Where memories of romance,
Rock-n-roll and booze and shiela’s too
Are there back there in me past,
No longer able
Or capable ya see,
To make a ton
In the backyard at mum’s,
And now ya see
With my mobile get around,
‘tis just a sad reflective ploy,
From the days of yore
And years before,
When a gunning me olde F.J,
And doing donuts
Around the block in pitch of dark,
And drinking tinnies too,
And smoking P.J super milds,
Now to end this little ditty,
Can’t ya see?
For all intent and purposes
I am this grumpy olde bastard,
And to all you
Young clones of Florence,
No longer able,
Or adept ya see
To chase a piece of skirt
And if ya fell in front of me,
Alzheimer’s would have the victory……
Personally, I wear my badge
of “Grumpy Olde Bastard” with pride.
It maketh my day.
