Oh Lucky Alice

Alice oh Alice she fell into a hole She dreamed of a world which was wholly Filled with great creatures and madness it was She wondered and looked upon just because But poor poor Alice was unaware Of the wary sign advising her to beware Of a beast so foul so wretched in its lust for power That it would steal life itself hour by hour The beast reared its head with a venomous scowl Poor Alice alone and weak like an injured owl Was eaten in whole by the dreadful beast But before digestion could fatally occur A hero appeared a rather mad sir With a flick of his hat and a gleam in his eye He had slain that great beast like a pig in a sty When Alice appeared from the beasts remains She thanked the hero and asked one question Oh hero oh hero what hast thou done? He replied with pride or madness rather And said that none can survive the mad hat of a mad hatter So with joy in his heart and laughter at his tongue He showed little Alice what was to come For this is but the start of a song with more singing Of a story that is only beginning
