Oh No!

Where has time run off to?

Just yesterday I snuck to get some cookies in the fridge

Now I detest a simple sample of sugar

Oh No! Is this what the old folks talked about?

You grow taller and forget the whereabouts of your past endeavors

You stomp your foot less, and storm up a weather

Puberty hits, and you dare not say whatever

Your bedtime stories became embarassing

When just ten years ago, it seemed enduring

Oh No! Has the old folks tale been a living nightmare all along

You forget to smile more, because you realize adolescence is long ahead

And long gone is your childhood days
