Oh Summer

Oh Summer

Oh Summer,

Where did you go?

As I pondered,

I missed you so.

Oh Summer,

I remembered the joys and laughs.

Going to the beach and riding the waves,

As well as eating ice cream with the chaps.

Oh Summer,

It seems like yesterday, I had you.

From watching native dancers spitting out fire,

To watching the night sky burst in multicolored hue.

Oh Summer,

I missed our dear friends.

They’ve moved on to somewhere far,

I am somewhat sad, I will not pretend.

But Summer,

You come and go.

Just like Autumn, Spring, and Winter,

Another year, another hi-ho!

Yes Summer!

I can’t wait for your arrival!

As I sit here in calculus,

Waiting for my happiness to come into revival.
