Oh the Water Falls

Oh the water falls,

Swiftly down my face.

Reminding me of those painful memories,

I could not erase.

How you used to swoon me,

With those innocent hands.

Your touch made me melt,

Like time does with sand.

Oh the water falls,

So swiftly upon my cheek.

Why is life so cruel,

That makes me so weak.

All I wanted was to take a chance,

But that was not so.

For you only glanced at me,

Before you said no.

Oh the water falls,

But for a different mind.

For I have tears of bliss,

Trickling down my cheek.

They are for a man in a tux,

And a girl in lace.

Forever becoming one,

With the suns embrace.
