Oil For Today

(poems go here) Blurry eyes of too many men
In cars and trains they travel far
We fill our tanks how we were taught
To stop and think is a useless thought

Who rides a bike, or even walks
When you can drive and slurp it up

Overseas we drill
It will always last
For today, we hope, for tomorrow

Oil spills, it drops and rolls
The seas are slicked
We slurp it up

Fight Fight Fight
For this is ours
And life goes on
For now, we hope, for tomorrow

Every time you turn, you spill a drop
You shop, you eat
You slurp it up

Now comes a day you spill too much
Coins and tears, something must be done

With guns and war and those blurry eyes
For now, we hope, for tomorrow

Oil spills, it drops and rolls
The seas are slicked
We slurp it up

Fight Fight Fight
For this is ours
And life goes on
For now, we hope, for tomorrow
