Oiled by Sunlight

I am the opposing thought

I am like Argon oil to your face

I reside in the sun rays that tan your skin

I am now that push that burns within

I was the oak on Autmn's worst day

I was the largest callus on the oldest slave

I sat underneath the sharpest words

Shackled by the voices of fear and hurt

I turned away from life

To lay with death

 Mouth glued shut, I

Settled for nothing

But then, there was a storm

That quenched my thirst

I began to stem

So high,  Iembraced my worth

I left satan's banquet

To dine with God

Now that everythings beneath me

I can no longer fall

I now oppose with thought

Argon oil to the skin

Burning truth resides so deep within

I embrace the sun that praises all who win.
