Why is it that I must cry?

For the age of peace is being most destructive.

Why is it that I must grief?

For the generation of today is the predator to their own kind.

Why is it that I am filled with sorrow?

For the people that I love always seems to drift astray.

Finally, the blissful horizon,

Inhumane no longer.

Recognize the beauty of peace,

Elegance forevermore.

Affinity absent absolutely,

Relief overwhelmingly present.

Malice past recollection,

Silenced forevermore.

Why is it that I must cry?

For the age of peace is being most destructive.

Why is it that I must grief?

For the generation of today is the predator to their own kind.

Why is it that I am filled with sorrow?

For the people that I love always seems to drift astray.
