Okay

“Are you okay” I heard someone say.

Is anyone ever okay.

Life seems to be so hard everyday.

But yet everyone is okay.

People die, people leave, people get beaten but they stay,

Yet everyone just seems to say they are okay.

Leaning up against this mighty oak,

So alone, my life is a joke.

It doesn't help being broke

Being young and dumb, doing all that coke

Sometimes I wish I could just fly away

Through the wind I would sway

I would fly over the beautiful bay

Than, maybe than, life would be okay
