Old and New

New.

Life, beginnings, changes.

Where The End ends,

The change never seen before by but a few.

As if time always brings it,

Yet I wish that I could keep up.

Old.

Regret, wise, and not bold

Something that will always arrive,

That I wish for me I could survive.

Memories, nostalgia, Disease,

Wouldn’t it be nice to be put at ease.

To go back to what once was,

To escape the hate

The pain the torture,

I wish if only I could be warmer.

Keep going.

Even when it’s not good,

When you want to stop,

Go back to how it was before,

You can’t.

You can’t go back to what once was,

For there will always be something

New.

No matter how hard you try,

Until you’re unable to live by,

Time won’t ungrasp you're told

Until the day you become something too old.

Whether you like it or not,

That is what’s true.

You cannot escape

From something old to something new.
