Old For A Day

While we live in the prime of our lives, we think to ourselves that we have “all the time”  and do what we wish.

As we live in the prime of our lives, we do things that could make us say on our deathbeds “ I wish I didn’t.” it’ll make us angry at ourselves for being young, and dumb.

In the prime of our lives, we take for granted what we have in our youth. We don’t take care of ourselves because we feel immortal, we break bones and hearts along the way.

Until we’re near the end of our youth, we don’t start to regret, because regretting is only what people who didn’t have fun do.

At the end of our youth, we cherish what we have achieved academically, emotionally, or physically.

We cherish our lives.

and thank the ones still living for giving us what we thought was a good life.
