Old Days

I can’t say I’m innocent but there was a time when I used to be.

Yeah, before I felt worthless and gave the boys the best of me.

I believed this lie that the more I gave the more I got.

But I was wrong dead wrong.

I used my body like money gave it to the ones I thought I could trust.

I thought that I was doing it right who knew I would bust.

I wore a little less and the more they would lust.

The more I sweet talk the harder they would thrust.

I was stupid but we all do what me must.

I wish I could I could start all over but at the same time I don’t

Because everything I’ve been through is a lesson never to be erased so it won’t

I’m trying hard now to be everything that I should have been.

I can almost close my eyes when I pray cause I’m not drowning in sins.

No more lonely nights crying because I couldn’t win.

I’m making a 360 turn like I’m a whirl wind.
