Old Friend

Dear Old Fiend ,

The words they say will mean little in 5 years.

You will cry because the words feel like knives carved into your heart.

For the pain that you feel now will only endure for a while.

But it gets better I promise but first you have to lose yourself and go into your darkest times.

As for love you will experience it and you will always experience heart break.

You won't believe me if I told you that mom is actually proud of you.

That the truth is you caused most of the pain

So busy trying to fit in you got lost in you became the exact thing you tried not to.

Your heart is big but its stupid

That boy who loves you loves the idea of you.

He's simply infatuated with the idea that you will simply give him anything he wants

He's right

Oh and those "best friends" you have just saying you will lose them all

The reality is that you will be alone for a while and because of that it doesn’t make you lonely

You are worth living and those pills aren't worth swallowing for you will miss all the greatness to come

There are so many more things to tell you but that will ruin the surprise

But don’t worry about your size; plus size girls will make a come back

Don’t worry you are too dark; Melanin will be popin!

Don’t worry about college; you got accepted to a university!

As far as love goes well lets just stick to celeb fantasies you have

All your dreams will come true but as for now you are just adding details to each chapter.

Oh and one last thing you will be confident and out spoken that people will be inspired

                                                                                                                        Love always,

                                                                                                                             You.
