An Old Heart

It's strange finding one's heart

It's terrifying almost

You would think that a heart was born inside you, finding its home deep inside your own body

But that's just an illusion

Your heart, your true heart and soul, is comprised of every concept you've ever known

Every person, every laugh, every lonely helpless moment

All piled up in one big, never-ending contradiction

You were born out of these experiences

You thought that you made the path

But really, the path made you
