The Old Her

I wish I could go back in time & change the moment she was introduced to them enemy,

Change when she & the enemy became close friends.

The enemy influenced her like no other.

Turned her healthy body frail, had her decent life spiral out of control.

I wish I could change the moment she got hooked,

change when she & the enemy became inseperable.

For yrs now I wish I could change her!

Back to the mom I knew when I was 5,

back to the one that was sober & functional.

I just wish she would change.

Not for me

Not for my sister

Not for anyone else

but change for herself!
