Old Light

You look old and dingy
You look familiar and that is comforting
You look faded
You are weak in my eyes but at the end of the day you are all I have
The shadows you give are nothing compared to the shadow you have become
You will be replaced by better and the world will never see the same
You will be replaced by your more efficient self and the world will never feel the same
You are in my memories and soon that will be only where you are
You will disappear slowly and almost unnoticed
The progress we have made together was nothing without you
