Old Maine
In the heart of Arkansas, where old maine stands,
A beautiful bell rings a melody so grand.
A symbol of history and pride,
Echoing through Fayetteville with such grace, as students walk outside.
As leaves fall, orange and brown on the grass,
Students hear the chime while making their way to class.
It's a ring so pure and profound that colleagues and scholars hear from all around.
A testament to learning, a tradition so gold.
In each and every note, stories unfold.
While seasons change, and the bell remains,
A beacon of hope shines through old maine.
With such beauty, power, strength, and joy,
What would Arkansas be without this tower?
