THE OLD MAN

The Old Man

An old man going a long a high way,
Sing away a lover's song of the day ,
Birds in premonition rose to the safety of air ,
And still the old man walked with loving care,
Then it came at the evening bay cold and gray,
The old man was talking away to every one that
Came his a crossed his way ,
Looking on at the beautiful sky above giving thanks
For this day ,
The beautiful waves of the ocean that Jehovah God made
The old man sing's with a smile on his face ,
The wide and steep and the breeze was strong
water rolling cold and deep ,
The old man crossed in the twilight dim,
The sullen stream had no fears for him,
But he turned, when safe on the other side,
But the old man still had that twinkle in his eye's to do what is right ,
He walked and he talked to every one in sight ,
To tell them the way of life in Jehovah's eye's ,
"You are wasting your strength with building here,
Your journey will end with the ending day,
You never again will pass this way,
You've crossed the chasm deep and wide,
Why build you this bridge at eventide?"
Walk with me and become fisherman's at Sea
Looking for the lost sheep .
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
And keep his eye's always on the way ,
Jehovah's way that is you see ,
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be,
He, too, must cross in twilight dim,and walk with me
To the very end ,
Good friend, I am building this bridge for him."
Who sent me to talk to every lost sheep .

Poetic Judy Lilly Emery

To all my readers you may see that their are grammar errors in my old writings, but these writing are from the 90's ,2000's. I truly didn't think anyone was readying my work . so I just started writing out what I felt and made my pains a story and poems . I had re post these poems and stories all over the internet and I keep them also in file so no one can ever say my work is theirs . I have kept my work as they are just for others to see where it was I started my writing at . The pains are so real not even a game ,The life I had lived I would never wish upon no one . I like to say to all who are taking the steps for change in their life congratulations to the new open doors God bless you . You may have seen my photos on the internet and my writings on Poetry.com and poem hunter etc. you may have seen the hate that others have given to me about my work and my beauty of who I am . But as you can see I will never let the haters Stop me from doing what I love . So I say the same to all of you write your own words and let your heart speak to all your readers . I hope you can understand why I haven't made changes in my work at less not the old ones . My old work are left as they are for me to always remember where it all came from . God bless to all who reads . Lilly Emery /Judy Emery
