A Old Man's Ballad

Tue, 02/19/2019 - 18:45 -- msa139

Here I am
The passing of time
A 70 year old man
Death keeps stopping by
As my time whines down
He comes to remind me
Your time is up
He then suggest
Stick the knife in your life to be
70 years and still can't get love
Nobody on Earth loves you
You have a funeral date due
Lonely old man in an apartment
Everything around darkens
While the young just frolic
Somehow, I hear voices
Past memories become noises
As I begin to become joyless
As my life streams, no more dreams
My world I can still see
Death, the only person I need
