The Old Me

You miss her

Her smile

Her laugh

Her words

Her mind

Would she come back if you pulled yourself apart?

If the skin slid off your bones

She’d be underneath

Asking you to leave her be

Begging you to embrace the new woman you can't stand to look at.

-the old me
