Old News

(poems go here) They say all niggas ain't shit I had an epiphany and I say fuck it It could be truth that women speak, or it could not be Well who's gone sit around find out? Not me I realized that I am a queen with dreams and goals, With game so cold it'll shake the souls of every nigga who would ever try to do me dirty I say fuck them muthafuckas I pay them no worry Scheming and plotting while he's out of sight He'll persuade you to love him with all his might You ignore that gut feeling like that couldn't possibly be right I don't have the time to wait on the next nigga and what he could do Tryna be his rider only to find out he's been untrue But you taught me a lesson, from this situation I grew I could never go back to that, you'll forever be old news. You knew exactly what you was doing, you played to win Used your knowledge of my past to slide right in. But, I got over being salty, there's no bitterness on my part Wishing you the best of luck, smiling cuz I know you still pushing carts. Now I take heed in the words my mama used to say   Breeoni, let these niggas catch you jetting down the runway   Feelings is mutual this ain't no one way   Yo king will reveal himself one day   Oh but fuck wit my baby and its gone be gunplay Never again will I invest time in a person who has no ambition No desire to place themselves in a better position But on the same note finding a nigga ain't my mission I'm tryna make power moves While these bitches out here still wishin Possibilities are endless, I'm out to get mine Gotta take it while its hot and I'm first in line On my to the top so watch me shine as I smoothly stride No bums on my team just along for the ride Just fam and maybe one solid nigga doing what it takes to stay by my side
