Old Soul

Beyond my years

Facing my fears

Fighting the tears

Living for the cheers

Old soul,

I stand out among my peers

I know

That the future starts here

It seems so far away

Until the day that I can

Move up, out, and away

And have no ties on my bank

But like a mirror

Things are closer

Than they appear.

Never been a joker

But from the start

I’ve always had the heart.

Never had the diamonds

But soon people will listen

To me like simon

So tired of seeing my moma

Crying, so when I’m

Tired, for her I keep trying.

The Scholar

Inspired by my mentor when gave me a mock interview asking me questions like "what is your brand? What do you fear?" and other questions I had never thought of before.
