For Old Times Sake

For old times sake
What do you say
We forget our differences
Forget all the heartbreak

Forget the difference in what I believed to be just a number
Forget our insecurities
Starve them and put them into slumber

Remember the way my fears dissolved in your presence
The way you stared straight into my soul
The way around you, my thoughts made sense

Please just for one more day
lets be the people we always wanted to
Let's not look back
Even just for a day I want to be who I always knew

Who I always knew I could be
But she doesn't exist
Unless I have you pulling her out of me
Easier and easier with every kiss

So what do you say
I know it'll lead to nothing but a heartbreak
But I'd endure it once again
Just for old times sake
