OLD WOUNDS
Old wounds
Colors on my skin and the names you called me
Stayed buried deep within .
Walk all over me like I'm not there
Throw me down the stairs like you don't even care .
It was only a lifetime that we shared now I'm old with gray hair ,
I'm so over it I swear ,The pains and the cut's that you gave
Is like being in a heart wave of a hurricane .
The knowledge of time came to me so fast .
I looked at us and I had to fuss of what is love and why didn't it last.
All I have now is the pains of flash backs ,
I'll just ignore your existence and the drama of heartaches you gave,
So any future memories let's not share I walked out with out a care ,
I don't want to know who was Right and who was wrong ,I don't care
Who will wine this time just get out of my mind .
These thoughts would keep me up all night as I would cry out so much
Pain like pouring rain , asking God to take this pain .
This battle is far too hard for me to fight So please Jehovah make this
Sad memory's take a flight right out of my life , and let me get on with life.
Whenever I see your faces I try so hard to look the other way ,
I look around to watch my back at all times ,If I was to fall Jehovah God will
Pick me back up because he has all my love ,
My faith is running deep , and my love for thee is strong to keep me moving along .
Peoples talk and look down on me , words of the nights gave me a fright ,
I would hear It in my head your voice coming back again .
You can see it in my face I am running in corals a gain ,
Where do I start and where does it all end another time in the old world wind .
I'm falling further and further into outer space with no hope of escape ,
I see that look upon your face .
My philosophy opens doors that I can't close
We are only flesh bones and souls
We are fragile so how many times can we stand after we fall ?
Oh Jehovah take it all you have my heart from the very start .
