Older kids

Loud

Crazy

Tall

Those are the older kids,

to them I am small

I wonder if I will be like them

My first party with the older kids

they are so grown up,

and I am still small

They dance

They sing

They’re confident

A blink of an eye

I wouldn’t lie

I start to join

We dance

We sing

We’re confident

The older kids leave

But I am still here

I am now the older kid

and the younger ones feared
