The Oldest Question in the Universe

This is the brilliant aspect of the Doctor.

In regeneration he can cheat death,

years by the hundreds his eyes get older.

A renegade of his race and all the rest.

Who seeks compromise without violence,

because wars are mostly primitive past tense.

Time Lord who knows all about the Time Vortex,

Is the one who abhors the thought of the end.

Then is the oldest question in the universe.

The Silence will fall with this final verse.
