The Once Forgotten
Black threads of ink
Hold weary souls
Forlorn poems
Crestfallen prose
Endless decay
Begets veneers
Through tight-lipped mouths
Of harsh-tongued peers
Broken-hand-hearts
Forget the sound
As beggars when
Coins hit the ground
Glorious trials
Immortal death
Made deities
In shortened breath
Short spans of life
Held weary souls
Once Forgotten
Forever known
