A once Glorious kingdom

Once upon a time -no,

I should not start it so,For this fairy tale I want to tell Did not happen too long ago You might hope for the fairies and princesses and rainbows But this fairytale is different than the the ones you know,For this is a tale of a once glorious kingdom That struggled to and fro  Blue skies and and blue seas quickly turned diseasedAs the king of this once glorious kingdom also turned to greed Melancholic roses bled into the soilAs bees and birds and kangaroos rived in turmoil The king of greed never wanted his need,Causing his greed to succeed-In destroying his once glorious kingdom For not even a single good deed. I’m sure you are hoping for a better ending to this tale but I regret to inform you that this tale has not endedFor everyday we live this story And not even realize, That this greedy king is in this fairy taleLives in our everyday lives Now this is not the end just yet But I do know what i’d like to see For if I was the ruler of this once glorious kingdomI would want my needs and need my wants-I would declare it a royal decree
