Once scared to remain in despair
My highest aspirations
The ones I hope no longer to be dreams
Threatening with apparitions
Visible and dark beams
Coming to induce fear or perhaps redeem
Sweeping away the emptiness
On the lookout for success
Now in pursuit of happiness
Knowing I am blessed
Sometimes hard to believe
Still enduring all poverty and despair
I am here to achieve
Soon there will no longer be a nightmare
