Once Upon an Alcoholic

Once upon a time I closed my eyes

dreamed of being something similar to Cinderella in terms of my life

Dreamed of how awful it must have been, how awful it is, although this is not something I alway advise

Because Once upon a time I dreamed of the sweet but was taken from the bitter

Had high hopes of becoming something and meeting my prince going to the ball,

Although rather than a dance, my reality continued to escalate  while her thoughts were compromised by the liquor

Once upon a time in the world where everybody gets their happy endings I am still looking for mines

because realistically if I got my happy endings I wouldn't have to deal with her liquor lies.
