Once Upon A Father Time
I’m scared and confused in a world that shows no mercy.
Life is just starting and it feels as though it’s now ending.
Everyone wants you to make a choice on the spot but they don’t realise those choices never stop.
The once happy days are forever gone, now we strive for a few but they never come.
The innocent don’t know there will come a day when all hope is lost and it’s sad to say that day is growing close.
So now i’m on my knees begging you please Father Time won't you spare my tears and tell me.
What happens when all feeling is lost and the innocent that once were, are now growing up?
What happens when all imagination is gone and the hearts of those who imagined are now lost?
How can we strive to be more than ourselves when we are living by your clocks?
Please Father Time just tell me what happens to us when our clocks stop?
