Once upon a Nigerian Boy

Sat, 08/19/2017 - 22:04 -- ayodeji

Once upon a time there was a nigerian boy named Ayodeji

Ayodeji was a very reserved and lonely child who never had any friends

Ayodeji would always mess with other kids so he would not feel alone in preschool

The empty feeling inside of him was like waking up on Christmas to find no presents under the tree

Ayodeji was always called stupid, that he had no chance to reach his goals, that black kids never amount to anything.

Once upon a time there was a nigerian named Deji.

He transformed himself into something greater

He was a weak ugly and depressed catapillar

but now. He is a beautiful butterfly

Nothing will bring him down. No one can tear his wings.

He is proving everyone that doubted him wrong, surpassing all of them

Once upon a time there was a nigerian boy, who is becoming the best he can possibly be.
