Once upon a time
Once upon a time there lived a boy in a house
He valued his family and his own sense of self.
He lived day by day with fleeting thoughts in his mind,
accepting that eventually, he'd run out of time.
He pushed himself harder than others he knew,
but through all this struggle, well that's how he grew.
He was never satisfied with just good enough,
and his goal was not to simply obtain lots of stuff.
He fought for himself so that he could fight for what's right,
for every man, woman, and child- he'd fight through the night.
He made himself the promise that he'd save the world from itself,
but this isn't some fairytale, it'd take a lot of work and some help.
So once upon a time there was happy old man,
sitting in his chair, he says "I've done all I can".
There was no magic moment, no mirror on the wall-
just a boy in a house who was the bravest of all.
