Once Upon A Time

Once Upon a Time,

Don’t we all wait for our

Once Upon a Time?

With our hair done up,

Makeup on perfectly,

Sparkling like a gem.

Our nails are painted neat

And legs shaved silky smooth.

As we wait …

And wait …

And wait some more for a prince.

But why?

Before we know it,

It’s a dark and stormy night,

And we’re sitting in the rain.

As we wait …

And wait …

So, ladies,

Hike up your skirt.

Get some dirt under your nails

And tie your hair in a knot.

Find your way to shelter,

And slide into something comfy.

Light your own fire,

Slay your own dragon.

Who needs a prince

When , darling ,

You’re a princess.
