Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time,

In a modern, utopian world,

There was no such thing as "hungry".

Every human being would go to sleep each night healthy and satisfied.

Once upon a time,

Every parentless child in the world would have a home,

And would be surrounded with people who love them.

The word "orphan" wouldn't be in the dictionary.

Once upon a time,

The word "racism" would be unheard of.

There would be no disputes over the color of one's skin,

and there would be no stereotypes.

Once upon a time,

There would be no beggers on the streets.

The word "poverty" wouldn't exist,

Because every human would have a livable income and a place to sleep.

Once upon a time,

Everyone would be safe inside the boarders of the country they call home.

There would be no need to flee with fear,

Therefore, a "refugee" would cease to exist.

Once upon a time,

Nobody would use the word "hate",

Or intend to harm others.

Justice would come to all, and the world would be a safe place.
