Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time
I believed in a happily ever after
Where the princess’ get the prince
And the unfortunate become fortunate
Once upon a time
I believed there was only good and no evil
Kinship was everywhere
And honesty was indeed,
The only policy to follow
Once upon a time
I believed sadness was only a myth
And every happy person was always uplifted
Where the good remained good
And the evil faced the consequences
Once upon a time
I believed in true love’s kiss
But upon that time, I learned
That it was a scam when people
Lost their loved ones and a last kiss
Remained the last kiss forever
And no one was revived
Once upon a time
Reality hit that life is not so easy
But in fact scary and a mystery to come
Once upon a time
The roles changed as I grew up
What I believed when I was younger
Was indeed the myth rather,
Than what i used to believe was a lie
