Once upon a time, Lost

There was a slippery slope,

I almost fell into a hole

However, you came

while I was a wreck

Unexpected, but you met me

at this broken place of hopelessness

I began to pour out every emotion

with a pen and paper in my hand.

I was rescued while in distress

you have freed me, I am a slave

to the way I move my hand

to the way I share everything with

my paper.

Once Upon a time, lost, but you

found me.

Thank you, poetry.
